TREASURED HEARTS
TREASURED HEARTS
assisting grieving families with the loss of their baby
Treasured Hearts has been blessed by an empathetic and compassionate community with donations and an outpouring of love to those in need. With this generosity and the assistance of the phenomenal staff at Lakeridge Memorial designers, we have assisted 15 families to lay their precious babies to rest. Black and White photography packages have been provided for 98% of the families at University Medical Center in the FBC who have experienced an infant loss.

Additionally, we have purchased 75 “Shining Star” bears that include a star registry and angel pins to give to each patient who has experienced an infant loss. The “Treat Yourself!” fashion show was a huge success with the support of “Candy Wrapper”, “Texas Tech Apparel Design”, “Cowamungus”, “Bakery Creations”, Chris Brock, Daniel Markham, the expert staff at the LHUCA, to mention just a few of our supporters.
We have our second annual fundraising Gala planned for June 25th at Caprock Winery. If you are interested in receiving more information about the event or organization, please email me!
Much Love and Blessings, Jenny Hensler
Treasured Hearts wins two UMC Star Awards for May. One given to the entire committee and one given to Jenny Hensler. The Star Award is a recognition for outstanding leadership in the hospital. Congratulations to the entire committee!
Thank you so much to everyone who attended, sponsored and assisted with the “Boots and Pearls Gala” benefiting Treasured Hearts. We were blessed to have such a compassionate and benevolent group of patrons! I am just ecstatic about responses, the powerful speeches from our patient, Starr Walden, Dr. Petty, and Greg Bruce. The combination of phenomenal music from Daniel Markham, Bryan Wheeler, and Thriftstore Cowboys and luscious food and pastries from Cowamungas, Chili’s, Bakery Creations, extraordinary décor and flowers provided by College Flowers and outstanding wine from Caprock all contributed to the success of the event!

The proceeds raised for the event were ample enough to fund 11 families to lay their baby to rest. Our hearts are full knowing we are able to assist these families and will continue throughout the year to fundraise, provide our follow through program, artistic black and white photography, and all other facets of this project. We encourage ideas, input, and donations! Thank you again to everyone who attended the Gala and we hope to see all of you again next year!
